May this statement of faith guide our beliefs and actions as we seek to glorify God and make disciples of all nations.

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven (Luke 1:26-38, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

We believe in the infallibility and divine inspiration of the Bible as God's Word, the final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in the fallen state of humanity due to sin, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and the necessity of being born again by the Holy Spirit

(Romans 3:23, John 3:3, Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe in the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer, empowering them for godly living and spiritual gifts for ministry (Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, comprised of all believers regardless of denominational affiliation, called to fulfill the Great Commission (Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 28:18-20).

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment of all humanity, leading to eternal life or eternal separation from God (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 20:11-15).

The doctrine of the Trinity is a foundational belief in Christianity that teaches the unity of God in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

1. God the Father: The first person of the Trinity is God the Father, the creator of all things.

   - Matthew 6:9 - "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name."

2. God the Son: The second person of the Trinity is Jesus Christ, the Son of God who became flesh and dwelt among us.

   - John 1:1, 14 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."

   - Colossians 1:15 - "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation."

3. God the Holy Spirit: The third person of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers, empowers them, and convicts the world of sin.

   - John 14:16-17 - "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him."

4. Unity of the Trinity: While each person of the Trinity is distinct, they are one in essence, purpose, and nature.

   - Matthew 28:19 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

5. Co-equal and Co-eternal: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are co-equal and co-eternal, with no hierarchy of essence or being.

   - John 10:30 - "I and the Father are one."

   - Hebrews 9:14 - "How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God."

6. Role in Salvation: The Trinity plays a unified role in the salvation of humanity, with the Father sending the Son, the Son accomplishing redemption through His sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit applying salvation to believers.

   - Titus 3:4-6 - "But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit."

The doctrine of the Trinity is a mystery beyond human comprehension, but it is a fundamental aspect of Christian faith that reflects the true nature of God as revealed in the Scriptures.
